  concert offers a brilliant range of Beach's music\, including her powerfu
 l Ballad for piano (1894) and the song she based it on\, her setting of Ro
 bert Burns' 'My Luve is Like a Red Red Rose.'  Ms. West performs songs by 
 Beach and also Edward MacDowell and Cecile Chaminade\, and Ms. Eskin offer
 s selections from MacDowell's Woodland Sketches and Concert Etudes\, and w
 orks by Florence Price\, an African-American composer who studied at the N
 ew England Conservatory in the 1910s.  The concert concludes with a set of
