 an American industrial rock music group\, founded in 1988 by Trent Reznor 
 in Cleveland\, Ohio. As its main producer\, singer\, songwriter\, and inst
 rumentalist\, Reznor is the only official member of Nine Inch Nails and re
 mains solely responsible for its direction. NIN's music straddles a wide r
 ange of genres\, while retaining a characteristic sound using electronic i
 nstruments and processing. After recording a new album\, Reznor usually as
 sembles a live band to perform with him. The touring band features a revol
 ving lineup that often rearranges songs to fit a live setting. On stage\, 
 NIN often employ spectacular visual elements to accompany performances\, w
 hich frequently culminate with the band destroying their instruments.   Ja
 ne's Addiction is an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles\
 , California in 1985. For most of its career\, the band has composed of vo
 calist Perry Farrell\, guitarist Dave Navarro\, bassist Eric Avery and dru
 mmer Stephen Perkins. After breaking up in 1991\, Jane's Addiction briefly
  toured in 1997\, reunited in 2001 and then parted ways in 2004. The band 
 has since reunited again in 2008\, with founding member Eric Avery returni
 ng on bass. The band's varied musical style have influences rooted in punk
