 ed exhibition celebrating the Marine tradition\, titled 'Atlantic and Beyo
 nd.' Distinguished Marine art specialists John Stobart and J. Russell Jini
 shian served as Director of the Maritime Gallery at Mystic Seaport for ove
 r ten years and now has his own marine art gallery. 'Atlantic and Beyond' 
 features an impressive range of mediums\, styles\, techniques\, and interp
 retations of the Marine theme. Artists from East to West coast have submit
 ted dramatic interpretations in the Marine Art tradition. In addition to p
 ainting submissions\, works in scrimshaw and photography are part of the m
 ore than 200 submitted pieces. The exhibition opens with a reception on Th
 ursday\, May 20th from 5:30 - 7:30pm at the Co|So gallery\, and continues 
 through June 19th\, 2010.\n\nStart time: The gallery is open Tuesday-Satur
 day 11am-6pm\, Sunday 12pm-5pm\, and Monday by appointment.
