  to announce the eighth annual Waterfront Performing Arts Series. The seri
 es\, sponsored by the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy\, takes place on T
 uesday evenings\, 6 &ndash\; 8 pm\, from August 3rd to August 24th at Chri
 stopher Columbus Waterfront Park. This year's program features a mix of ar
 tistic genres including opera\, American standards\, jazz\, Celtic music a
 nd a theatrical performance. This summer's complete series includes\,  Aug
 ust 3:  A North End Salute\, featuring Lirica Italiana and Adam Herbert: A
 n evening of classic arias\, favorite Neapolitan songs\, and a tribute to 
 Frank Sinatra.  August 10:  Sarah Borges and the Broken Singles:  A deligh
 tful meld of the high-lonesome vibe of classic country with the hardscrabb
 le attitude of old-school alt-rock.  August 17:  A Celtic Night with Laura
  Cortese:  Welding the propulsive grace of ancient fiddle styles to disarm
 ingly open-hearted original pop songs  August 24:  Complete Works of Willi
 am Shakespeare (Abridged):  A bawdy parody of the plays written by William
  Shakespeare with all of them being performed (in shortened form) during t
