 \n\nGroup classes are a great foundation for beginning students to learn a
  new instrument in a fun and social atmosphere. The skills learned in grou
 p instruction will build students' knowledge of an instrument\, preparing 
 them for private instruction.   MUSIC FOR LITTLE MOZARTS   4-6 years  Musi
 c for Little Mozarts is a joyful piano course specifically designed for ch
 ildren 4-6 years old and includes movement\, song\, play and pretend activ
 ities\, designed to provide a balance between the discipline necessary for
  playing piano and the enjoyment derived from the process of music-making.
   15-weeks\, 50 minutes\, $375 per term   (4-5 years): Tuesdays at 3:00pm 
     (5-6 years): Thursdays at 3:00pm     (5-6 years continuing students on
 ly): Thursdays at 4:00pm      BEGINNING PIANO    7-8 years  Students learn
  the basics of rhythm\, notation and ear training in a relaxed\, creative 
 group setting that incorporates music and movement with basic keyboard ski
 lls. By the end of the second term\, students will be able to read simple 
 melodies\, improvise a melody with chords and work with basic rhythmic pat
 terns.  15-weeks\, 50 minutes\, $375 per term  (7-8 years): Tuesdays at 4:
 00pm    GROUP VOICE  7-12 years   If you love to sing for your friends and
  family\, or even in the shower\, this is the class for you. Perfect for y
 oung rockers-in-training who may not be ready for private lessons. We'll e
 xplore what makes our voices tick\, what the qualities of a &ldquo\;star p
 erformance&rdquo\; are\, and we'll let YOU choose what you want to sing! W
 hether you like\, pop\, rock\, jazz or broadway\, you'll be able to work t
 o make it sound great in a relaxed setting. Each semester culminates with 
 a public performance.  10-weeks\, 60 minutes\, $280 per term New sections

 Find your muse! Have you found her already? Put her to work!!  Five 60-min
 ute sessions will cover text writing and setting\, making the most of your
  chord progressions\, writing melodies\, putting it all together in perfor
 mance and the basics of Mac-based recording in a relaxed\, collaborative a
 tmosphere. All styles welcome! Ideal for those with a creative impulse tha
 t needs focus\, those wanting to get a better understanding of their curre
 nt songwriting process\, or those looking to do more with an established s
 ongwriting craft. Qualifications: The ability to accompany yourself on pia
