 tunity to turn creative aspirations into art using state-of-the-art comput
 er programs and MIDI technology.   GARAGE BAND   6 Years & Up   This class
  will use Apple's 'GarageBand' application to teach all aspects of the 3 R
 's: 'recording\, 'riting and 'ranging.' Start with the basics and finish w
 ith an album of songs by the end of the term! With an endless supply of pr
 e-programmed loops\, you can sound like a pro on hundreds of instruments. 
 No previous recording experience necessary. All students will take part in
  an end-of-session 'recording release party.'  14-weeks\, 60 minutes\, $38

 lease call for availability.  JAZZ THEORY IN A NUTSHELL   8-18 Years   Jaz
 z theory isn't as complicated as it often seems. Any musician can learn th
 e basics in just a few hours. Whether you play jazz\, rock or classical mu
 sic\, you can learn to interpret chord symbols and identify the &ldquo\;ke
 y of the moment\,&rdquo\; which will allow you to read chord charts and im
 provise over any song form. This hands-on class will meet once a week for 
 four weeks. Bring your instrument!  4-weeks\, 90 minutes\, $165 per term N

 SITION/EAR TRAINING   8 Years & Up  This class provides amateur musicians 
 with the opportunity to turn their creative aspirations into songs and com
 positions. Those with a love of computers and music are able to create ori
 ginal music with the aid of state-of the art computer programs and MIDI te
 chnology.  15-weeks\, 50 minutes\, $350 Private and group classes availabl
