  work in the Boston. Through diverse media Kentridge examines his native S
 outh African society and the aftermath of apartheid. He probes his subject
 s from within\, giving visual and dramatic form to what is often left unsa
 id: the complicity\, regret\, the ambivalence toward one's affinity with a
  place that could be so familiar yet so brutal. Several animated films\, p
 rints\, anamorphic drawings\, and sculptural work will be on view.\n\nStar
