 13\n\nBMS POP/JAZZ WOMEN'S VOCAL ENSEMBLE  13-18 years  NEW!    \n\nThis w
 omen's ensemble will focus on unaccompanied small group singing in a wide 
 variety of musical styles\, ranging from classical to folk to current and 
 classic pop music\, as well as jazz and world music. In addition to learni
 ng how to blend in an ensemble\, improve reading skills\, and sing in a wi
 de variety of genres\, there will also be the opportunity for students to 
 arrange music and assistant direct\, if desired.  One public performance p
 er semester. A placement interview is required.  \n\nClass Length: 15-week

 ENSEMBLE  13-18 years  NEW!\n\nThis women's ensemble will focus on Classic
 al and World music (i.e. Balkan\, Georgian and South African music). Singi
 ng in a topnotch ensemble is one of the most rewarding musical experiences
  you can have.  We welcome all experienced and enthusiastic singers to joi
 n us in this exciting new adventure. Reading music is not essential\, as w
 e will also cover basic reading skills. A placement interview is required.
   \n\nOur first performance will be on the Winsor Chamber Music Series in 
 November of 2010. There will be many more performance opportunities throug
 hout the year. The ensemble's director\, Megan Henderson\, has worked with
  the PALS Children's Chorus\, Village Harmony Summer Camp\, the Winsor Sch
 ool Choruses and has sung with the Schola Cantorum\, Boston Bach Ensemble
