 ce its seventeenth annual Icons + Altars exhibition\, a unique benefit eve
 nt featuring the work of 106 regional artists. Whether you are an experien
 ced collector or a first time buyer\, this exhibit is a wonderful opportun
 ity to acquire unusual and profound works of art from a variety of artists
 . Artists working with different styles\, methods\, and media are invited 
 to create an icon or altar that may be personal\, cultural\, social\, or s
 piritual.\n\nThe receptions and visiting the exhibition are always free. A
 ll works are for sale through a ticketed drawing process. Tickets are $250
  each and are available for sale through the New Art Center until the draw
 ing begins on Sunday\, December 12. Ticket-holders need not be present at 
 the drawing to select their artwork. \n\nProceeds from Icons + Altars tick
 et sales benefit the New Art Center's art education and exhibition program
