 ebrate Diwali\, the festival of lights.  November 4th\, 7pm\, Houghton Cha
 pel\, Wellesley College Free and open to public   The evening has two part
 s: Part one explores different encounters in contemporary human life: enco
 unter of the human soul with the divine\, encounter with self\, encounter 
 with lover and encounter with gravity.  The second half has selections fro
 m Navarasa Dance Theater's acclaimed dance theater work A Story and A Song
 .  Based on folk tales from South India and Native American traditions\, A
  Story and A Song takes the audience to a world of beauty and images.   Th
 e show is conceived by Aparna Sindhoor and S. M. Raju\, Choreographed by A
 parna Sindhoor and Anil Natyaveda\, Directed by Aparna Sindhoor and perfor
 med by a multi-cultural cast of Navarasa Dance Theater artists that come f
 rom India\, Boston and Singapore. Performers include: Aparna Sindhoor\, An
 il Natyaveda\, Smitha Radhakrishnan\, Rajesh Raveendran\, Raghu Narayanan\
 , Vyvyane Loh and Jill Cunningham.   Music scores by Isaac Thomas and Pras
