 rformance includes seasonal and sing-along holiday favorites as well as nu
 mbers by Benjamin Britten\, Antonio Vivaldi\, John Rutter\, and Harry Wess
 man.\n\nThe Worcester Children's Chorus\, founded in 2008\, offers childre
 n ages 8 through 18 an opportunity to sing choral music ranging from Class
 ical to Gospel. Four levels of choral participation and direction offer yo
 ungsters from throughout Worcester County professional-level instruction i
 n vocal technique\, music theory\, sight singing\, ear training\, and pres
 entation as well as exposure to a variety of choral styles. Performances f
 or the 2010-2011 year include a Celtic celebration\, a trip to Boston to p
 erform at Boston University\, a collaboration with children's choral group
 s from across the state to benefit CASA\, a performance at the Worcester A
 rt Museum\, a trip to New York City\, and much more! Involvement in this p
 rogram enhances young people's lives\, helping them to develop qualities o
 f self-reliance\, personal integrity\, responsibility\, compassion\, and c
