 ained acclaim as an adventurous violinist with a wide-ranging repertoire. 
 She has created a sensation with appearances as soloist with Pierre Boulez
  and the Los Angeles Philharmonic\, Christoph Eschenbach and the Chicago S
 ymphony Orchestra at the Ravinia Festival\, at Wigmore Hall\, and Lincoln 
 Center's Mostly Mozart Festival. Described as &ldquo\;the real thing&rdquo
 \; by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer\, Frautschi's performance at Wellesle
 y will include Clara Schumann's Three Romances\, Op. 22\, Brahms's Sonaten
 satz for Violin and Piano\, and Robert Schumann's Sonata No. 2 in D Minor.
 \nThe Chamber Music Society at Wellesley College will open Frautschi's con
