 ric organs in America\, and was designed specifically for the performance 
 of north German organ music of the 17th century. To celebrate this magnifi
 cent instrument's 30 years at the college and C.B. Fisk Organ Builder's 50
 th anniversary as a company\, Wellesley performance faculty member James D
 avid Christie will present a program\, &ldquo\;In Praise of Sweelinck\, th
 e Orpheus of Amsterdam.&rdquo\; Acclaimed as one of the finest organists o
 f his generation\, Christie has performed throughout the United States\, C
 anada\, Europe\, and Japan in solo concerts and with major symphony orches
 tras under such conductors as Ozawa\, Masur\, Tennstedt\, Dutoit\, Bernste
 in\, Davis\, Norrington\, Pinnock\, Parrott\, and Hogwood.\n\nStart time:
