 d Art Museums\n\nMargarete Bieber\, the great German scholar of Hellenisti
 c sculpture and Greek and Roman theater\, was the first woman to receive t
 he German Archaeological Institute travel fellowship and to become full pr
 ofessor at the University of Giessen. Forced to retire in 1933 because of 
 her Jewish ancestry\, she left Germany\, eventually securing a position at
  Columbia University. This talk on an installation of her coins in the gal
 lery of ancient art will focus on Bieber's life and work\, as well as her 
 collection.\n\nFree with the price of admission (admission to the Sackler 
 Museum is free on Saturdays from 10am&ndash\;noon). Open to the public.\n
 \nLimited to 25 participants\; please arrive early.\n\nGallery talks are i
