  past conductor\, Allen Lannom\n\nThis performance is a tribute concert to
  Allen Lannom\, who led Masterworks Chorale for an extraordinary 53-year t
 enure\, from 1952 to 2005. The concert marks the fifth anniversary of his 
 passing.   The Dvo?&aacute\;k Stabat Mater was one of Mr. Lannom's most ch
 erished works for chorus and orchestra.\n\nThis performance features two s
 oloists who last sang the Dvo?&aacute\;k with Mr. Lannom\, mezzo-soprano V
 ictoria Avetisyan and tenor Yeghishe Manucharyan.  (Mr. Manucharyan was on
 e of the heralded tenors in last season's Metropolitan Opera production of
  Rossini's Armida in New York.)  Joining the performance is another featur
 ed soloist close to Mr. Lannom and Masterworks\, acclaimed soprano Andrea 
 Matthews.  As Mr. Lannom would regularly introduce new vocal artists to hi
 s audiences\, that part of his legacy is also honored in this tribute conc
 ert.  Bass-baritone Adrian Smith completes the quartet of this esteemed ro
