acarera' on two tracks\, the unique and powerful vocal work of singer Aubr
ey Johnson on Jason's composition 'Inner Journey\,' and a string quartet o

Bent and the Sweet Spot Strings] and jazz trio (piano\, bass and drums)--s
omething that comes off with excellent results\, capturing the best of bot
h the trio and the string quartet and allowing the parts of all seven musi
cians to communicate with one another. And\, while the album is centered
around the Jason Yeager Trio\, two pieces\, 'Dos Familias' and 'Uprising'
seemed to call for an expanded quintet format\, so Jason added the great M
ike Tucker on tenor saxophone and the inimitable Vivek Patel on flugelhorn
