 ra Eye Seminar I and serves as an advanced course for those who already ha
 ve created a portfolio and want to further develop their visual talents. T
 he course is an intensive workshop where students will explore photographi
 c seeing and visual thinking in depth. In a small class setting we will fo
 cus on strengthening conceptual terms and the development of each individu
 al's unique way of seeing into a consistent photographic style. Guest arti
 sts and critics from our local arts community and beyond will be invited t
 o discuss individual portfolios accompanied by field trips to artists' stu
 dios\, galleries\, or museums. Each class consists of review and critique 
 of student's photographs\, slide lecture and discussion\, assignments for 
 next class and/ or field trip option.\n\nThe course is open to anyone who 
 seeks to develop their visual skills in photography in depth and those wit
 h existing portfolios interested in greater visual and conceptual sophisti
 cation.\n\nStart time: meets Thursdays 5:30 to 8:30pm and Saturdays 1 to 4
 pm
