 onel Ilan Ramon\, Israel's first astronaut and the tiny Torah he carried i
 nto space\, will be shown at the Arlington Center for the Arts at 41 Foste
 r Street in Arlington on Monday\, May 9 at 7pm.\nThe documentary tells the
  Torah's journey\, from the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp to the day it
  was celebrated aboard the space shuttle Columbia. It is a unique story th
 at interweaves the heights of scientific achievement\, the depths of a nat
 ion's cruelty\, the private grief of a boy who came of age during the Holo
 caust\, and the public mourning of many nations in the aftermath of the Co
 lumbia shuttle disaster. Combining historical and ethical inquiry\, the fi
 lm reaches across faiths and nationalities to tell a truly human story.\nA
 n Article of Hope\, a West Street Productions and Herzog & Company film\, 
 is part of  the Ryna Greenbaum JCC Center for the Arts. The showing is co-
