 oston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) will present &ldquo\;One Fine Sund
 ay in the Funny Pages\,&rdquo\; a free\, one-of-a-kind exhibition featurin
 g the original artwork of 140 different syndicated comic strips and panels
 . The free exhibition will be open to the public from Monday\, May 2nd thr
 ough Friday\, May 27th\, 2011. In celebration of the exhibition\, and just
  in time for National Cartoonists Day on Thursday\, May 5th\, 2011\, the B
 CAE is offering students the chance to learn the art of drawing and creati
 ng comic strips with three new workshops: Creating a Comic Strip\, Cartoon
  Drawing Workshop: Make Them Laugh With Your Pen\, and Comic Book Art Work
 shop. \n\nCreating a Comic Strip\nLearn the basics of writing and drawing 
 comics! In this class you will discuss the history of the comic art form\,
  cover the tools needed to make your strip\, and learn the fundamentals of
  composition and visual storytelling. By the end of the four sessions\, yo
 u will be able to create your own hilarious or action-packed characters an
 d settings. The possibilities are endless! Begins Tuesday\, May 3rd\, 2011

 Workshop: Make Them Laugh With Your Pen\nIf you love to draw but serious a
 rt isn't quite your cup of tea\, then this class is for you! Learn how to 
 sketch goofy and laughably absurd cartoons in this one session workshop. Y
 ou will cover the basics of cartoon expression while looking at the work o
