 e performance of particular rituals. Focusing on Northern Wei and Tang dyn
 asty stone sculptures from Tianlongshan\, this talk will lead viewers from
  a close consideration of the visual qualities of these sculptures to an i
 magined reconstruction of the social and ritual contexts in which they wer
