 o empower students when it comes to creating theatre\, and nowhere is this
  more apparent than the Playwrights' Festival. Every year\, interested stu
 dents write and submit ten minute plays\, which are reviewed by a panel of
  student directors\, faculty and alumni. From these\, between 6-8 are sele
 cted\, and their authors begin the intensive process of peer review\, disc
 ussion and revision. Its an opportunity for individuals interested in writ
 ing\, directing and acting\, producing or working backstage to get involve
