 area chair of music education at the Michigan State University College of 
 Music where she also directs and teaches in the Early Childhood Music and 
 Young Musicians Program of the MSU Community Music School.  She teaches ea
 rly childhood music methods\, elementary general music methods\, research\
 , and measurement and evaluation.  She also directs graduate research at t
