 tra in the NEC Preparatory School.\n\nAs the YPO prepares to tour Europe t
 his summer\, performing in Vienna and the Czech Republic\, and because 201
 1 marks the 100th anniversary of the death of Gustav Mahler\, and because 
 Zander has been a powerful advocate for Mahler throughout his conducting c
 areer\, it is no surprise that the orchestra will take a Mahler symphony a
 s part of its tour repertory.\n\nHowever\, there is nothing commonplace ab
 out a youth orchestra playing Mahler's extraordinarily difficult and emoti
 onally profound Ninth Symphony. Come hear this preview of the tour perform
 ances.\n\nThe concert also includes the Tchaikovsky Rococo Variations with
  concerto competition winner Jonah Ellsworth (in photo)\, who is also prin
