 lush\, pristine sound to a joyful set of her own compositions\, and classi
 c and contemporary Brazilian songs. Her unique ability to sing equally wel
 l as a lead vocalist and as a part of the horn section (singing wordless p
 assages and improvising) puts her in an elite class of next-generation of 
 jazz singers. She performs regularly as both leader and side-person\; she 
 is a member of the Lyle Mays Quintet and drummer Mark Walker's Rhythm of t
 he Americas Nonet\, among others. Aubrey's voice can be heard on Bobby McF
 errin's 2010 Grammy-nominated album VOCAbuLaries. She is set to release he
 r debut album on Greg Osby's record label\, Inner Circle Music in 2012.\n
