 k to funk.\nRaviv Markovitz is an acoustic and electric bassist from Lexin
 gton\, Massachusetts\, and is currently a sophomore at Columbia University
  in New York City. He was selected to the 2009 GRAMMY Jazz Ensemble\, the 
 2010 YoungArts Jazz Fellows\, and the 2008 Vail Jazz Workshop under John C
