 t series every Friday throughout the summer. The Boston Public Library's c
 ourtyard will host music that ranges from jazz to classical and from folk 
 to funk.\nAmerican Century Music presents an eclectic program featuring Vi
 rgil Thomson's Sonata da Chiesa (1926). Thomson described his final work u
 nder the tutelage of Nadia Boulanger as a &ldquo\;bang-up graduation piece
  in the dissonant neo-baroque style of the period.' The program also inclu
 des Leslie Bassett's Brass Trio (1953) and Vincent Persichetti's Parable N
