 ncoats and the Coolidge Corner Theatre announce the Sixth annual 'Can't St
 op the Serenity' Event at the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline\, MA at
  midnight on Saturday\, June 25th\, 2011.  'Can't Stop the Serenity' is a 
 global fundraising effort featuring charity screenings of Joss Whedon's 20
 05 film Serenity to benefit Equality Now. In the last five years\, the New
  England Browncoats have raised over $20\,000\, and in total over $500\,00
 0 has been raised for Equality Now around the world.  Fans of Joss Whedon 
 show Serenity on his birthday to honor him and to raise money for his favo
 rite charity\, Equality Now. \nEquality Now (http://equalitynow.org/) work
 s to end violence and discrimination against women and girls around the wo
 rld through the mobilization of public pressure.  In addition to raising m
 oney for Equality Now\, we will also be collecting non-perishable food ite
 ms for the Greater Boston Food Bank. In the past five years the New Englan
 d Browncoats have collected over 2\,500 lbs. of food for the GBFB. \nAnyon
 e that brings a donation will be eligible for raffle prizes.  Tickets for 
 this event will be $12 in advance and $15 the day of the show. They are av
