 n and Contemporary Art\n\nJoin us as we explore three art and architecture
  gems in Lincoln\, Massachusetts. Our day will begin with the stately eleg
 ance of the Codman Estate\, a Georgian country home filled with artwork an
 d antiques spanning the centuries\, with lush gardens in the Italian and E
 nglish traditions. We will move on to Gropius House\, built by Walter Grop
 ius\, Bauhaus founder and later\, instructor at Harvard's Graduate School 
 of Design. Gropius's innovative design included materials common to New En
 gland architecture but was created in the Bauhaus style\, and distinguishe
 d him as one of the leading architects of the 20th century. Following lunc
 h\, we will finish the day at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum\, wi
 th opportunities to explore modern and contemporary American art\, both in
