 allenge conventions of portraiture and probe concepts of identity in the l
 iminal space between art and science. His enigmatic Helen (2000)\, a teneb
 rist afterimage of an exchange between artist and subject\, is currently i
 nstalled in the first-floor gallery of the Sackler Museum\, as part of the
  Re-View exhibition.\n\nArtisTalk is a new six-part series of lectures by 
 and conversations with some of today's most thought-provoking artists. Art
 istic practice is an essential form of intellectual inquiry and cultural c
 ritique. Contemporary artists have much to say and much to teach about the
  complex world in which we live.\n\nThe fall series will feature artists w
 hose work resonates with new installations in the Sackler Museum: the rece
 ntly refreshed contemporary galleries in the ongoing exhibition Re-View an
 d the special exhibition Prints and the Pursuit of Knowledge in Early Mode
 rn Europe\, on view September 6&ndash\;December 10\, 2011.\n\nFree admissi
