 r of metaphor to create compelling visions of our complicated relationship
  to the natural world\, and ocean biologist James McCarthy\, a leader in b
 ridging science and policy in his work on global climate change\, will dis
 cuss the interconnections of art and science in the 21st century. They wil
 l address how a broader public might be engaged in the dominant scientific
  issues of our time and highlight both the wonder and the urgency that inf
 orm their work.\n\nFree admission\; registration is required. Registration
