 d time at Boston's historic Symphony Hall\, Voices of Hope's annual fundra
 ising gala on Saturday\, September 17\, is a rallying call to arms against
  cancer through inspirational song\, dance and testimonials. Hailed as 'or
 dinary people on an extraordinary mission\,' Voices of Hope is comprised o
 f more than 100 local musical theater performers who donate their time and
  talent to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.\n\nThe event beg
 ins with a cocktail reception and silent auction at 6:30 pm\, followed by 
 a moving theatrical event featuring popular\, traditional\, and Broadway m
 usic illustrating the battle to conquer cancer and painting a compelling p
 icture of hope that a cure is possible. The performance will be sign langu
 age interpreted.\n\nAll proceeds go to the Belfer Institute for Applied Ca
 ncer Science at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute\, a revolutionary research ce
 nter that rests upon a multidisciplinary and multi-institutional scientifi
 c collaboration that focuses on the six deadliest cancers and is at the he
 art of Dana-Farber's strategic research plan.\n\nTickets for the event are
