 ew art installation in Waltham combines space age technology with digital 
 age software!\n\nIn 2004\, musician Mike Gordon and his mother\, artist Ma
 rjorie Minkin\, began work on an interactive multimedia instillation combi
 ning sounds from Mike's solo CD\, &ldquo\;Inside In&rdquo\;\, with Marjori
 e's unique process of forming and coloring Lexan. They approached Jamie Ro
 bertson to design a system that embeds wireless audio players along with u
 ltrasonic range finders in each piece so that sound and lighting within th
 e art and in the exhibit space is controlled by viewer proximity to the ar
 twork.\n\nJoin the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation September
  13\, 2011\, 6:30 to 9:30 PM\, for a free opening reception of Another Sid
 e of In.  This new interactive exhibit blends the space age plastic Lexan 
 with modern computer and light and sound software to produce an immersive 
 interactive experience for museum visitors.  The exhibit is a collaborativ
 e effort between Phish Bassist Mike Gordon\, internationally recognized ar
 tist Marjorie Minkin\, and renowned electronics designer Jamie Robertson.
 \n\n&ldquo\;Another Side of In&rdquo\; will be on display at the Charles R
 iver Museum of Industry & Innovation in Waltham from September 11 through 
 December 23\, 2011.  The museum is open Thursday through Sunday 10 AM to 5
  PM.  Admission is $7.00 per adult\, $5.00 per child\, student or senior\,
  children under six\, active and retired US Military are free.  The museum
  is located at 154 Moody Street\, Waltham MA 02453.\n\nStart time: 6:30pm
