 ooney takes his original score to the classic 1922 vampire film Nosferatu 
 on the road. Nosferatu still stands the test of time\, with brilliant came
 ra work\, stunning sets and locations\, and lots of old-school horror camp
 . It tells the story of Hutter\, a German man who travels deep into the Ca
 rpathian mountains of Transylvania to visit the castle of Count Orluk\, a 
 &ldquo\;nosferatu&rdquo\; (apparently they couldn't get the rights to &ldq
 uo\;Dracula&rdquo\; or &ldquo\;vampire&rdquo\;).Cooney's original score is
  heavy in gypsy and klezmer motifs\, giving the score a distinctive old-fa
 shioned Eastern European sound. It also makes wide use of dramatic horror-
 camp effects\, avant-garde improvisatory vocabulary\, and classical idioms
 . Scored for clarinet\, violin\, accordion\, piano and bass\, it is an exp
