 , will welcome visitors to its annual Fall Open House on Monday\, October 
 10\, 2011\, from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.  In conjunction with the Fall Open H
 ouse\, the Museum will present a free screening of Christian Marclay's 24-
 hour video\, The Clock\, starting at 4 p.m. on Sunday and running through 
 the Open House.  (This will be the last opportunity for Bostonians to see\
 , for free\, the video in its entirety&mdash\;all 24 hours.)  Marclay's ma
 sterwork\, The Clock\, is an award-winning 24-hour video made up of thousa
 nds of film fragments that show the passage of time.  Images range from wa
 tches to clocks to bits of dialogue\, synchronized to tell the accurate ti
 me at the current moment.  The MFA has extended the run of the video\, whi
 ch will be on view in the Loring Gallery during regular Museum hours throu
 gh December 31 at 4:45 p.m.  Another highlight of the free Fall Open House
  is the new special exhibition\, Degas and the Nude\, organized by the Mus
 eum of Fine Arts\, Boston\, and the Mus&eacute\;e d'Orsay\, Paris.  Presen
 tation of the exhibition in Boston is made possible by Bank of America\, a
 nd the exhibition is supported by an indemnity from the Federal Council on
  the Arts and the Humanities.  Additionally\, this family-friendly free da
 y will include performances by Boston Ballet dancers and a duo from Berkle
 e College of Music\, as well as family art-making activities in the galler
 ies and tours.  It is made possible\, in part\, by a grant from The Boston
