 c Orchestra is pleased to announce Emmy award winning Arts and Entertainme
 nt critic Joyce Kulhawik (from CBS-Boston's WBZ &ndash\; TV 1981-2008) wil
 l be featured as a narrator with the orchestra for the upcoming November 6
 th concert.  The theme of the concert will focus on popular American favor
 ites\, such as Gershwin's &ldquo\;Porgy and Bess&rdquo\;\, Copland's &ldqu
 o\;Outdoor Overture&rdquo\;\, Chadwick's Jubilee from &ldquo\;Symphonic Sk
 etches&rdquo\; and Hanson's Symphony No. 2\, Op. 30\, &ldquo\;Romantic&rdq
 uo\;.   Joyce Kulhawik's appearance will be a highlight as she narrates Aa
 ron Copland's &ldquo\;Lincoln Portrait.&rdquo\;    Ms. Kulhawik is an este
 emed and charismatic journalist\, arts advocate\, as well as three- time c
 ancer survivor.  She has been the recipient of the Governor's Award at the
  33rd National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Boston/New England 
 Emmy Awards\, co-host of nationally syndicated shows\, and guest narrator 
 with the Boston Pops and other orchestras.    Additionally\, Joyce is the 
 Honorary Chairperson of the American Cancer Society's Massachusetts Daffod
 il Days.  She has helped raise millions of dollars for ACS's research\, ed
