 n Hass Feldman who will demonstrate the use of the medium oil sticks at th
 e Newton Senior Center. The demonstration is free and the public is cordia
 lly invited.   Ms. Feldman's landscapes and interiors are described as col
 orful\, playful\, complex\, and upbeat. Nan has had over 40 one-person exh
 ibits\, been included in 28 museum exhibits\, and has been in over 50 grou
 p exhibits in her 38-year career as an artist.  She teaches at three Massa
 chusetts art museums\, and has taught in France and Italy. Her work is in 
 public and private collections in five countries.\nThe Newton Art Associat
 ion was first organized in 1949 by the late James King Bonnar and a small 
 group of interested artists for the purpose of stimulating and encouraging
  the expression of fine arts in this community.  The Association presents 
 a regular series of programs on the second Thursday of the month\, from Se
 ptember through May\, at the Newton Senior Center\, 345 Walnut Street in N
 ewtonville. Outstanding New England artists present their work and demonst
 rate their techniques for the membership and friends. Also\, the Associati
 on organizes critiques\, lectures\, workshops and exhibits for its members
  throughout the year.  NAA is a non-profit organization under Chapter 180 
 of the Massachusetts General Laws\, and as such is tax exempt under sectio
