 : 2012-01-16\n\nBrookline Music School presents the 2012 Suzuki Flute Trai
 ning for Book 2 on Thursday\, January 12 to Monday\, January 16\, 2012 fro
 m 9:00am to 5:00pm at 25 Kennard Road in Brookline. Over the course of fiv
 e days\, trainees will receive 15 hours of classroom time and eight hours 
 of observation time\, in conjunction with the 8th Annual Suzuki Flute Work
 shop. \n\nFacilitator for Flute Book 2\, Kimberly Lorimier has been a regi
 stered SAA flute teacher trainer since 2000 and has been teaching in Massa
 chusetts for the past 15 years. She is a graduate of the University of Mic
 higan in flute performance and received her graduation certificate from th
 e Talent Education Institute in Matsumoto\, Japan where she studied with T
 oshio Takahashi. Her studio is currently in Needham\, MA and she enjoys fr
 eelancing in the Boston area. \n\nFacilitator for Flute Book 4\, Laurel An
 n Maurer\, flute\, has been recognized as &ldquo\;one of our outstanding a
 nd gifted flutists&rdquo\; by her principal teacher\, Julius Baker. She be
 gan her Suzuki training in 1987 with Rebecca Paluzzi and also studied priv
 ately with Toshio Takahashi\, founder of the Suzuki Flute Method. Ms. Maur
 er became a Suzuki Teacher Trainer in 2007. She has toured throughout the 
 U.S.\, Europe and Asia\, has recorded many CDs and has commissioned new fl
 ute works from many American composers. Laurel Ann also studied with Jeann
 e Baxtresser and Samuel Baron.\n\nStart time: 9:00am-5:00pm
