 th summer theater season on Wednesday\, June 29\, with the world premiere 
 of Open Marriage: Renegade Wife of the Gilded Age. Produced by Ventfort Ha
 ll in cooperation with Shakespeare & Company\, the play is based on the un
 orthodox life of Elsie Clews Parsons\, who lived with her family at Stonov
 er Farm on Undermountain Road in Lenox\, less than a mile from Ventfort Ha
 ll.  \n\n\n\nCommissioned by the museum and written by award-winning Berks
 hire playwright and director\, Juliane Hiam\, the play stars Anne Undeland
 \, signature actress of many of the theater productions presented at Ventf
 ort Hall. New York director\, producer and actor John Gould Rubin directed
