 he world &mdash\; this idea incorporates questions of our relation to the 
 environment\, systems of labor\, forms of dwelling\, inventive domesticati
 ng\, clothing apparatuses&mdash\;all of which compose an ethics of comport
 ment\,' Puett says of her work. 'This is embodied in The Mildred's Lane Pr
 oject and The Mildred Complex(ity)\, which encompasses working-living-rese
 arching with a pedagogical strategy and is co-evolving a rigorous engageme
 nt with every aspect of life&hellip\; Being is my practice.&rdquo\;\n\nJ. 
 Morgan Puett was born in Hahira\, Georgia in 1957. She Received her MFA fr
 om The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work is most innovative
  in the realm of social practices at the intersections of fine art\, archi
 tecture\, and the fashion system applying history\, biology\, economy\, an
 d philosophy. She was the 2004 recipient of Anonymous Was A Woman Award an
 d recently awarded the 2009 Smithsonian Institution Artist Research Fellow
 ship.\n\nPuett is a guest speaker in the Art Talks lecture series\, part o
 f the MFA in Visual Arts Program at The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley
