 Lyonel Feininger took up the camera and began to explore a range of avant-
 garde photographic techniques with stunning results. This gallery talk\, g
 iven in conjunction with the exhibition Lyonel Feininger: Photographs\, 19
 28&ndash\;1939\, will feature Feininger's cameras\, the materials he used\
 , and examples of his experiments with night photography\, negative printi
 ng\, enlarging\, and multiple exposures.\n\nThis series considers objects 
 from more than one point of view. The informal talks\, many of them by Har
 vard Art Museums curators\, conservators\, and educators and Harvard Unive
 rsity faculty members\, are designed to stimulate thinking about works of 
 art and to encourage participants to explore their own ways of seeing.\n\n
