 ing orchestra A Far Cry has enjoyed a heady ascent toward the highest rank
 s of today's new generation of classical ensembles. Hailed by the Boston G
 lobe as &ldquo\;thrilling\,&rdquo\; &ldquo\;intrepid&rdquo\; and &ldquo\;b
 rilliant\,&rdquo\; A Far Cry explores the traditional boundaries of classi
 cal music\, experimenting with the ways it is prepared\, performed\, and e
 xperienced.\n\nRecently appointed Chamber Orchestra in Residence at Boston
 's Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum\, the ensemble has developed an innovat
 ive structure of rotating leadership\, both on stage and behind the scenes
 \, which empowers each musician and aims to distill a valuable diversity o
 f opinion into one unified voice.\n\nAlong with its busy touring schedule 
 across the USA\, A Far Cry maintains an educational partnership with the N
 ew England Conservatory and continues to foster ties to a growing communit
