 seemingly mundane analytical systems and structures such as diagrams\, lis
 ts\, and floor plans. Sherman discusses Gonzalez-Torres's work on view in 
 Figuring Color: Kathy Butterly\, Felix Gonzalez-Torres\, Roy McMakin\, Sue
  Williams\, providing insight on how artists imbue ordinary objects with e
 motion and sentiment.\n\nSherman received her bachelor of fine arts from t
 he Massachusetts College of Art & Design and was awarded the Foster Prize 
 from the Institute of Contemporary Art\, Boston in 2006. Her artworks resi
 de in numerous private and public collections\, including the ICA\, and ca
 n be viewed at Center Street Studio and the Barbara Krakow Gallery\, where
