 3-02\n\nThe Salem Theatre Company celebrates ten years of live theatre in 
 Salem with a Masked Ball Gala on Friday March 2 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in 
 the Hawthorne Hotel Ballroom\, 18 Washington Square West in downtown Salem
 . Tickets for March MASKNESS! are $55.00 per person\, and includes your ma
 sk which you may select the evening of the gala. \n\n&ldquo\;March is best
  known for college basketball\,&rdquo\; said Norene Gachignard\, President
  of STC's Board of Directors. &ldquo\;But this theatre is taking it back w
 ith March MASKNESS!&rdquo\; \n\nThe tongue-in-cheek title was the brainchi
 ld of John Fogle\, Artistic Director of the company\, who also suggested t
 he idea of a masked ball. &ldquo\;The idea was inspired by a performance o
 f 'Sleep No More\,' co-produced by the American Repertory Theatre and Punc
 hdrunk\, in which all members of the audience wore masks as they watched t
 he play unfold. As actors know\, it's a mystical and freeing experience to
  be behind a mask. I'm sure our guests will also find it creates a unique 
 partying experience.&rdquo\; \n\nMusic will be provided by the full orches
 tral sounds of Special Edition and Evan Northrup\, a Salem-based magician 
 will stroll the venue entertaining all with parlor tricks. Hors d'oeuvres 
 will be passed and a cash bar provided. \n\n&ldquo\;We are very pleased to
  have the support of many local shops and businesses for our Silent Auctio
 n which will include a Wes Welker autographed football\,&rdquo\; added Gac
