 res\nFrom protest and political change in Libya to devastation in the wake
  of Hurricane Katrina\, photojournalists undertake grave risk to capture t
 he pivotal moments in history. The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley Unive
 rsity and the Consulate General of France in Boston celebrates that missio
 n in 101 Photos for Press Freedom\, an exhibit from March 21 to April 30 i
 n The Art Institute of Boston Gallery\, 700 Beacon Street\, Boston.\nThe e
 xhibition's 101 images convey war\, revolution\, and other world events th
 at have unfolded since 1947. The exhibit and related events honor the 25th
  anniversary of Reporters Sans Frontieres (Reporters Without Borders)\, an
  international organization that advocates freedom of the press\, founded 
 in 1985 by Robert M&eacute\;nard\, Rony Brauman and journalist Jean-Claude
  Guillebaud.\nThe internationally renowned Magnum photo agency in Paris ga
 thered 101 photographs donated by its members for the exhibit\, which is f
 ree and open to the public.\nAn Opening Reception will be held Wednesday\,
  March 28\, 5:30-7:30pm\, at the AIB Gallery\, 700 Beacon Street\, Boston.
 \n&ldquo\;The Consulate General of France is happy to have contributed to 
 this exquisite photo exhibition. Not only do these pictures brilliantly il
 lustrate the big questions of today's world\, but they also invite the spe
 ctators to reflect upon freedom of expression to which France and the Unit
 ed States are committed\,&rdquo\; said Mr. Christophe Guilhou\, Consul Gen
 eral of France in Boston.\n&ldquo\;It may be impossible to over-estimate t
 he impact photographic images have on our perception of events throughout 
 the world. They have the capacity to not only bring us to the center of th
 e struggles of our fellow man a world away\, but also to shed incontrovert
 ible light and truth where issues and passions are complex\,&rdquo\; said 
 Stan Trecker\, Dean of the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University.\n
 &ldquo\;We're delighted to present this exhibit\, and to engage in a conve
 rsation about the incredible adventure and risk undertaken by photographer
 s in some of the worlds most dangerous places\,&rdquo\; said Trecker. &ldq
 uo\;We celebrate 'Freedom of the Press\,' going far beyond the ideal to th
 e brass tacks of what it takes in practice under difficult circumstances\,
  and the need to protect it.&rdquo\;\nThree of the award-winning photojour
 nalists featured in the exhibit\, Thomas Dworzak\, Antoine D'Agata and Sus
 an Meiselas\, will speak about the role and importance of independent jour
 nalism during The Strauch-Mosse Visiting Artist Panel Discussion\, moderat
 ed by New York Times best-selling author Alex Kershaw and author of The Li
 fe and Times of Robert Capa\, on Thursday\, March 29 at 7 pm at Washburn A
 uditorium\, Lesley University\, 10 Phillips Place\, Cambridge\, MA.\nThe e
