  of Rent\, will bring her new live show backed by a full orchestra to the 
 Citi Wang Theatre on Saturday\, September 29th.\n\nGarnering huge critical
  acclaim\, Menzel reached superstardom on Broadway with her Tony Award-win
 ning performance as Elphaba\, the misunderstood green girl\, in the blockb
 uster Wicked and in her Tony-nominated role as Maureen in the revolutionar
 y Rent. This season\, Menzel reprised her role on &ldquo\;Glee\,&rdquo\; F
 OX's smash hit television series\, as Shelby Corcoran\, Rachel's biologica
 l mother.\n\n&ldquo\;I am so thrilled to be going back on tour this summer

 d a CD and DVD entitled IDINA MENZEL LIVE: BAREFOOT AT THE SYMPHONY\, a sp
 ecial journey through a diverse repertoire of classic pop and musical thea
 ter favorites\, including a fresh spin on contemporary songs\, led by lege
 ndary composer/conductor Marvin Hamlisch\, filmed at The Royal Conservator
 y's beautiful Koerner Hall in Toronto\, Canada. IDINA MENZEL LIVE: BAREFOO
 T AT THE SYMPHONY premiered on PBS stations in March.\n\nMenzel also premi
 ered Wicked in London's West End to rave reviews and received a Theatergoe
 rs Choice Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Menzel's talents garnered a
  Drama Desk Award nomination\, as well as a Drama League Award nomination 
 for her role in See What I Wanna See directed by Ted Sperling at The Publi
 c Theater. Menzel also appeared in ABC's television series &ldquo\;Private
  Practice.&rdquo\;\n\nMenzel's film credits include Disney's romantic fabl
 e\, Enchanted where she appeared opposite Susan Sarandon\, Patrick Dempsey
