  welcomes ages 4 to 17. As students gain experience\, they build skills an
 d familiarity with tools and materials. Younger children start with hand t
 ools and small projects\; continuing students undertake more complex proje
 cts\, gaining appreciation for wood as a creative medium. Teens advance to
  shop etiquette\, milling\, joinery\, layout and basic power tools. \n\nEa
 ch class incorporates beginners and experienced students\, with new projec
 ts each session. Small classes allow for ample individual attention. All c
 lasses emphasize safety and the pleasure of making things and completing t
 hem to take home. Materials are provided for small projects\; for larger p
 rojects\, instructors will advise students to bring their own. Parents are
