 Event at\nthe Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline\, MA at midnight on Sat
 urday\, June 23rd\, 2012.\n\n'Can't Stop the Serenity' is a global fundrai
 sing effort featuring charity screenings of Joss\nWhedon's 2005 film Seren
 ity to benefit Equality Now. In the last six years\, the New England\nBrow
 ncoats have raised over $22\,000\, and in total over $600\,000 has been ra
 ised for Equality\nNow around the world.\n\nFans of Joss Whedon show Seren
 ity on his birthday to honor him and to raise money for\nhis favorite char
 ity\, Equality Now. Equality Now (http://equalitynow.org/) works to end vi
 olence\nand discrimination against women and girls around the world throug
 h the mobilization of public\npressure.\n\nIn addition to raising money fo
 r Equality Now\, we will also be collecting non-perishable food items for 
 Rosie's Place (www.rosiesplace.org)\, a sanctuary for poor and homeless wo
 men that offers emergency and long-term assistance to women. In the past s
 ix years the New England Browncoats have collected over 2\,500 lbs. for lo
 cal charities. Anyone that brings a donation will be eligible for raffle p
