 ' Group of Charlestown announces its 8th Annual\nSpring Art Exhibition\, s
 ponsored by the Charlestown Preservation Society.\nThe show will open with
  a lively reception for artists and the public on Friday\, April 27th from
  6:00 to 9:00pm at the StoveFactory Gallery\, 523 Medford Street\, Charles
 town\, MA. The Gallery will be open on Saturday\, April 28th and Sunday\, 
 April 29th from 11:00am to 5:00pm.\nNow in its 8th year\, the Spring Show 
 brings together a range of media and subjects from talented artists based 
 in Charlestown and beyond. Works will be available for sale\, and the show
  provides an ideal opportunity for seasoned and new collectors alike to pu
 rchase works from both established and emerging artists. Artist George Nic
 k will be judging the event.\nWorks in the exhibition will be selected by 
 a jury\, and a guest judge will award prizes to the top entrants. Visitors
  will be asked to select their own &ldquo\;favorite&rdquo\; piece in a &ld
 quo\;People's Choice&rdquo\; vote.\nEstablished in 1997\, The Artists' Gro
 up of Charlestown is a 501c3 corporation organized to promote the visual a
 nd related arts through educational programs and sponsored events in the c
 ommunity\; to provide scholarships to local students with interests in pur
 suing the visual and related arts\; and to provide an atmosphere for devel
 oping and maintaining interest in the visual\narts and related arts.\nFor
