 than's Cafe and Bakery is hosting an exhibition of Science inspired art fr
 om April 12 through June 3.  The exhibit features colorful and organic pai
 ntings by Dr. Regina Valluzzi\, an artist from Arlington with decades of r
 esearch experience in the Physical and Biomedical Sciences.  Independent c
 urator John Quatrale has selected a group of engaging and intriguing origi
 nal artworks for the exhibit.\n\nArt can make Science more approachable.  
 A painting can capture a technical concept\, and make it both insightful a
 nd allusive.   For the past three years\, Valluzzi has increasingly explor
 ed art as a way to communicate scientific ideas.  Many of the concepts enc
 ountered in the sciences are inherently abstract\, and a creative painting
  captures and communicates different dimensions of these concepts.    Vall
 uzzi's abstracted paintings are vibrantly colorful.   Her use of geometry\
 , color\, and pattern dances across the canvas.  Many of the abstracted fo
 rms explore themes and ideas drawn from her experiences as a research scie
