 capture the majestic beauty of nature on a simple piece of paper. The medi
 um allows the artist to produce vivid images while employing pigments in t
 heir purest form\, more so than other wet media such as oils or acrylics. 
 In this NONA\, we will view some outstanding pastel works and explore foun
 dation drawing\, materials\, technique\, supports\, and preservation. Work
 ing primarily in dry pastels\, participants will experiment with the mediu
 m's endless possibilities. Come with any level of experience\, and leave w
